Abstract

|
This study was designed to report the clinical effects of Hyunhwang-haedok-tang on patients who have suffered from acute tonsillitis. Patients complained of fever, sore throat, swallowing difficulty, headache, cough. We give a diagnosis of acute tonsillitis. Therefore, we treated patients with oriental medicine, especially Hyunhwang-haedok-tang, and found that those symptoms and signs were improved by VAS, which is visual analogue scale. Through this study, Hyunhwang-haedok-tang on patients who have suffered from acute tonsillitis, proved to be effective.
